Ms May Ng Bee Bee

Executive Chairman

May Ng Bee Bee has been the Executive Chairman of Pan-United Corporation Ltd since July 2024. She was previously the CEO of the Group since March 2011 and before that, held the position of Executive Director of the Group from January 2004 to February 2011.

Ng sits on the boards of several subsidiaries in the Group. She serves as an independent non-executive director of NTUC Enterprise Co-operative Ltd and Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd. She was previously the Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Mercatus Co-operative Ltd.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from the University of Western Ontario, Canada.

Mr Patrick Ng Bee Soon

Deputy Chairman, Executive Director

Patrick Ng has been the Deputy Chairman of Pan-United Corporation Ltd since March 2011. He was CEO of the Group from January 2004 to February 2011. He also serves as a director of several subsidiaries in the Group.

Ng is currently a non-executive director of Zhuhai Harbour (Singapore) Company., Limited (fka Xinghua Port Holdings Ltd).

He has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oregon, United States of America.

Mr Fong Yue Kwong

Lead Independent Director

Fong Yue Kwong has been the Lead Independent Director of Pan-United Corporation Ltd since July 2024 and an Independent Director since March 2020.

He has more than 40 years of experience in the port, marine supply base and logistics industries in Singapore and Asia, particularly China.

Fong joined JTC Corporation in 1978 and rose through the ranks to become the first president of the corporatised Jurong Port in 2001. After he retired from JTC in 2011, Fong served as an advisor to Pacific International Lines (Pte) Ltd, Keppel Logistics Pte Ltd and Shenzhen Chiwan Petroleum Supply Base Co., Ltd.

Fong has been a board member of Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital since 2011.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of East Asia, Macau.

Mr Soh Ee Beng

Independent Director

Soh Ee Beng has been an Independent Director of Pan-United Corporation Ltd since December 2018.

Soh has 25 years of experience in investment banking, including mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, equity placements and equity-linked transactions.

Soh has worked at several leading financial institutions. He was the Managing Director and Head of Advisory for South East Asia at The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Ltd.  Prior to that, Soh was the Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking of N M Rothschild & Sons (Singapore) Ltd, the CEO and Head of Investment Banking of BNP Paribas Peregrine (Singapore) Ltd, and the Director of Corporate Finance of ING Bank N.V.

Soh currently serves as senior advisor at Houlihan Lokey. He was previously an independent non-executive director of Xinghua Port Holdings Ltd.

He has a Bachelor of Accountancy degree with First Class Honours from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Mr Chan Wan Hong

Independent Director

Chan Wan Hong has been an Independent Director of Pan-United Corporation Ltd since July 2024. He brings more than 25 years of legal expertise with him.

Chan is a Senior Director at FC Legal Asia LLC. He is also an Independent Non-Executive Director of Centurion Corporation Limited, and an Independent Non-Executive Director of Multi-Chem Limited. A practising lawyer, Chan has extensive experience in capital market transactions, and advises SGX-listed companies on their corporate actions and ongoing compliance requirements.

He is recognised as a Notable Practitioner for Capital Markets and M&A by IFLR1000 and is ranked by Chambers and Partners for his startups and emerging companies practice. Chan has recently been recognised by Business Today as one of the top 10 startups and emerging companies lawyers in Singapore.

Mr Ken Loh Kah Soon

Chief Executive Officer

Ken Loh Kah Soon has been the Chief Executive Officer of Pan-United Corporation Ltd since July 2024. He was previously the Chief Operating Officer since 2019. Loh served as the Executive Director of Pan-United Industries Pte Ltd since 2004.

Loh first joined the Pan-United Group as a General Manager in 1999, with the mandate to spearhead the growth of the Group’s new Ready-Mixed Concrete (RMC) business. Since then, the Pan-United Concrete & Cement (C&C) Division under his stewardship has become Singapore’s biggest producer of RMC and the largest supplier of cement.

Prior to joining Pan-United, Loh had over 16 years of management experience as a General Manager in the building materials industry, helming cement, sand quarry and RMC businesses across various territories including Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, India and China. He is a Member of the Institute of Engineers, Singapore, and the Singapore Institute of Directors.

Loh graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) degree from the University of Melbourne. He subsequently obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma City University. In 2013, Loh attended the Advanced Management Programme at Harvard Business School.

Mr Jim Teh

Group Head, Corporate Development

Jim Teh joined the Pan-United Group as the Head of Group Corporate Development in 2016. His present responsibility covers corporate strategy and corporate finance, capital markets, investor relations as well as finance.

Teh also oversees the operations of the Pan-United subsidiary in Malaysia that produces slag cement for the construction industry.

Teh has over 25 years of wide experience in the investment and wholesale banking as well as commercial sector. Prior to joining the Group, he was Managing Director at CIMB Bank. He held various positions in the CIMB Group in Singapore and Malaysia over a duration of 17 years.

Teh is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He attended the INSEAD Leadership Programme in 2011.

Ms June Toh

Financial Controller

June Toh is the Financial Controller of Pan-United Corporation, responsible for the financial and regulatory compliance of the group. She joined the Group in 1987 as an accounts assistant, rising through the ranks before assuming her present position in 2018.

Toh has seen the Group through its years of successful growth, financially managing the businesses that spanned from shipping, shipyards and the cement and concrete business. She was involved in the rights issue and de-merger of Xinghua Port from 2017 to 2018.

She holds an ACCA qualification and is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Ms Seng Mui Mui

Group Head, Information Technology

Seng Mui Mui is the Group Head, Information Technology, of Pan-United Corporation Ltd, responsible for all information technology initiatives and the strategic digital transformation of the Group. She doubles up as the Group’s Data Protection Officer (DPO).

Seng is also the business lead for the AiR (Artificial Intelligence for Ready-mix concrete) consulting service, which builds optimisation platforms for ready-mix concrete and cement companies.

Seng joined Pan-United in 2002 as an IT Manager and rose to head up the department in 2013. Since then, she has steered technology to become a critical platform driving the Group’s future growth.

Seng has over 27 years of expertise in the fields of IT Infrastructure, Security and Business Applications. She began her career in Valona Technologies in 1994 as a Senior Engineer providing software support for external customers. In 1998, Seng moved to Cap Gemini Ernst & Young US Consulting and was promoted to become the Regional IT Manager (Financial System). Her scope at Cap Gemini encompassed Asia-Pacific markets in the area of financial systems management.

Seng has a Bachelor of Science degree from Tunku Abdul Rahman College, Malaysia, and a Masters of Business IT from RMIT, Australia.

Ms Linda Chee

Group Head, Communications

Linda Chee is the Group Head, Communications, of Pan-United Corporation Ltd, a position she has held since she joined in 2016. She is responsible for the Group’s strategic branding and corporate communications initiatives.

Chee has an extensive 40-year track record in branding, corporate & marketing communications, investor relations and business journalism. She was the Shipping and Transport & Communications Editor at the Business Times before she left the newspaper to join the Sembawang Group in 1990 to head up its Corporate Affairs department.

Prior to joining Pan-United, Chee was SVP and Head of Group Communications at Ascendas Pte Ltd for 14 years, during which she led the company through two rebrandings and the initial public offerings of Ascendas REIT and Ascendas India REIT. In 2009, she was part of the APEC CEO Summit Singapore Organising Committee overseeing branding, publicity and media.

Chee has a Bachelor of Arts & Social Science degree from the University of Singapore.

This Privacy Statement is designed to assist you in understanding how we at PanU (Pan-United Corporation Ltd or the Group) and Singapore-based affiliates we own or control (we, us or our) collect, use, and/or disclose the personal data you have provided to us in accordance with the requirements of the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (No. 26 of 2012) (“PDPA”). In this Privacy Statement, “personal data” used or mentioned shall have the meaning ascribed to it under the PDPA.

We hope that this Privacy Statement can help you make an informed decision before you provide us with the necessary personal data.

Introduction to the PDPA

“Personal Data” is defined under the PDPA as data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from such data. It also applies to data and other information to which we have, or are likely to have access. Examples of personal information you may provide to us include (depending on the nature of your interaction with us) your name, identification numbers, contact information, photographs and any other information relating to either yourself or any other individuals which you have provided in any forms submitted to us or via other forms of interaction.

We will let you know why we are asking you for your personal data and obtain your consent before we collect, use or disclose, unless the processing of your personal data without your consent is permitted by the PDPA or by law.

Purposes for Collection, Use and Disclosure of Personal Data

The personal data which we collect from you may be collected, used, disclosed and/or processed for various purposes, depending on the circumstances for which we may/will need to process your personal data. The data includes but are not limited to:

(a) providing our services;
(b) responding to your queries, requests and complaints;
(c) meeting the purposes for which you have submitted the information;
(d) protecting and enforcing our contractual and legal rights and obligations;
(e) any other purpose for which we notify you at the time of obtaining your consent; and/or
(f) all other purposes related to business.

The purpose for which we may/will collect, use, disclose or process your personal data depends on the circumstances at hand. Such a purpose may not appear above. However, we will notify you of the purpose at the time of obtaining your consent, unless processing of your personal data without your consent is permitted by law or the PDPA.

You may request to access and/or correct the personal data currently in our possession or withdraw your consent for us to collect, use and/or disclose your personal data at any time by writing to our Data Protection Officer at one of the following means:

For a request to access personal data, we will provide you with the relevant personal data within a reasonable time period.

For a request to correct personal data, we will process your request, including undertaking necessary verification activities, as soon as practicable after the request has been made. We will send the corrected personal data to other organisations to which the personal data was disclosed by us within a year before the date the correction was made, unless that other organisation does not need the corrected personal data for any legal or business purpose, or if you so consent, only to specific organisations to which the personal data was disclosed by us within a year before the date the correction was made. We may also charge a reasonable fee in accordance with the requirements of the PDPA for the handling and processing of your request to access your personal data. You will be notified in advance of such costs.

For a request to withdraw consent, we will process your request within a reasonable time period. Requests for withdrawal of consent may adversely impact your relationship with us, in which case we will notify you in advance of such impact.

Disclosure of Personal Data to Third Parties

We will only share your personal details with a third party for the purposes and situations as described above, or for other purposes where we have your consent to do so.

Administration and Management of Personal Data

We will take reasonable efforts to ensure that your personal data is accurate and complete, if your personal data is likely to be used by us to make a decision that affects you, or disclosed to another organisation.

We will also take reasonable efforts to take appropriate precautions and preventive measures to ensure that your personal data is adequately protected and secured. Appropriate security arrangements will be taken to prevent any unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, leakage, loss, damage and/or alteration of your personal data. However, we cannot assume responsibility for any unauthorised use of your personal data by third parties which are wholly attributable to factors beyond our control.

We will also cease to retain personal data, as soon as it is reasonable to assume that the purpose for collection of such personal data is no longer being served by such retention, and if such retention is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.

Where your personal data is to be transferred to a territory outside of Singapore, we will comply with the PDPA so as to ensure a standard of protection to the personal data transferred that is comparable to the protection under the PDPA.

This Privacy Statement does not apply to, and Pan-United is not responsible for, any third party websites which may be accessible through links from this website. If you follow a link to any of these third party websites, they will have their own privacy policies and you will need to check these policies before you submit any personal data to such third party websites.

(d) Explaining clearly and simply what has happened and, where appropriate, the effect it has had on you;
(e) All necessary information to help us identify your concern correctly; and
(f) What you would like us to do.

We treat such concerns seriously and will work actively with you to resolve it to the best of our abilities.
